Since you’re stuck at home due to the lock down you must be wondering, ‘what do i do to pass this unsolicited freetime?, and being a movie lover we have compiled a list of ten very awesome black movies to watch.

We all love a good African themed movie don’t we all?, here they are.

Black panther

A special from the Marvel Cinematic universe, Black Panther is one of the highest grossing movies of all time hitting a total of $1.23 billion dollars. It’s also the first ever dedicated black super hero movie from Marvel.

Though there are appearances in the MCU with heroes like Luke Cage, War Machine, Storm, Miles Morales and Nick Fury, Black Panther features the full African taste and culture ever seen on TV. Black Panther 2 will be released by May 2022.

Proud Mary

Taraji P Henson is the point of focus in this hit assassination spin off after getting bouts of remorse from taking the life of a target who happens to have a son. Though there’s been some controversial bad faith in the movie by the producers that’s their deal. Proud Mary is good old fashioned assassin lady classic.

Traffik
