It’s been a long time coming. Since it’s initial release in 2009, Avatar, popularly known as James Cameron’s Avatar. There has been a lot of scrapped dates and serious planning for the movie stating this in lights to make it a series, there would be Avatar 2, Avatar 3, Avatar 4 and Avatar 5. It’s a little funny. Avatar 2 was supposed to be released in 2014 and Avatar 3 in 2015.
James Cameron, the legendary director of the sequel has confirmed the release of the next sequel Avatar 2 on 17th of December, 2021 (canceled). This was also confirmed on Avatar’s official twitter handle.

So what are the sequel titles?
No doubt we are all used to to good old ‘Avatar’ but the movies have been noted by the BBC to have the following sequel names: Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar: The Seed Bearer, Avatar: The Tulkun Rider and Avatar: The Quest for Eywa though it should be noted that the names are not definite.
So what’s the plot about?

There would some ‘familial and imprisonment’ themes as released by the director when giving fans a teaser on the plot though we are expecting more. James Cameron has stated that ‘intense writing’ is the reason behind the delay for the Avatar sequels. Though the movies could also be stand alone incase you have missed some of the series. This has also been confirmed by producer John Landau.
We hear there would be awesome underwater scenes that’ll make you, quoting Cameron “shit yourself with your mouth wide open”. If that doesn’t sound exceptionally promising. The movie is set after the occurences of the first sequel. The focus would mostly be on the children of Sully, who is now chieftain and Neytiri, the clan’s high priestess. Most parts of the film would be set underwater.
