Behind Her Eyes, a Brilliant Psychological thriller but an unsatisfying ending.
Netflix released the hit thriller series on the 17th of February 2021. If you love movies like Now You See me well, this series might just be for you. The series is based on the novel by Sarah Pinnborough. Sprinkled with the markings of ‘you have to figure this out’ from the start of the series, the creator Steve Lightfoot left quite some good pointers from shifting views and muffled breaths one wonders who the Person of View really is.
Behind her Eyes unlike other thrillers of this nature brings a totally new concept. Also, to talk of the likes of movies such as Split here Netflix brings in a totally different scenario where the series is basically about a Jealous and maniac wife ready to do anything to achieve her aims and in this case, anything.
The series is chilling, only after you’ve watched it twice, creative and a tad bit preposterous but has that chilling kick all the same.

Suspense quite on a minimal view the series relies heavily on great storytelling and impressions. A little bland on the ending part with the introduction of Astral travel where a much jaw-dropping revelation is made which to quote NPR on Netflix’s website ‘want to watch the whole thing from the start again’ and to be frank, this is one series to see twice to get the total picture. Behind her Eyes does not have any announcements for season 2 currently.

The Crime thriller of the decade.
